I am a multi-media artist who is currently specialising in cast paper. My latest body of work includes very large castings of round tables with place settings which have been embellished with stitch.

I have been inspired by my admiration for women who form support groups throughout their lives, often making lifelong friends. These support groups help each other through all that life throws at them - the triumphs, the disasters and the every-day problems that just need another woman's perspective. These groups usually meet around a meal table and discuss their news, their successes and their problems.

I belong to two such special groups of friends and we have known each other for over 20 years. There aren't many of life's challenges that we haven't shared, discussed, argued over or celebrated. Sometimes all that each of us can offer is an open ear and an open heart.
